Australian Jamboree 2025

In the late hours of January 5th, eight Scouts and three leaders departed Grafton for Maryborough, Queensland. After an overnight journey, they arrived at AJ2025, where they joined the rest of their unit, C001 - Cheeli Cool, and began setting up camp-home for the next 10 days.

That afternoon, the excitement continued as everyone gathered in the main arena for the opening ceremony, highlighted by a live performance from Amy Shark. This set the tone for the event's vibrant entertainment lineup, which included a comedy night featuring Dave "Husey" Hughes and a spectacular closing ceremony with Sheppard.

Throughout the jamboree, Scouts embarked on incredible adventures. They visited Australia Zoo, where they encountered wildlife up close and witnessed the famous Crocoseum show featuring the Irwin family. Day trips to Hervey Bay offered opportunities for swimming and snorkeling, while onsite activities included climbing, abseiling, flying foxes, motorized esky races, and a thrilling mud obstacle course.

Not even the rain could dampen their spirits. The Scouts embraced every challenge Maryborough had to offer, forging friendships with fellow Scouts from around the world and experiencing the true meaning of camaraderie.
